Chris teaches from the heart and is passionate about revealing the divine within all of her students allowing them to become the teachers the world is in such need of.  After studying Medical Sociology in the Master’s program at IU, Chritine became most intereseted in the healing aspects of Ayurvedic Medicine and integrates the basic principles of this healing art into the 200-hour program in hopes that those suffering from chronic disease can find relief.Chris has meditated since childhood.  She began studying Kriya yoga in 2005 at The Self- Realization Fellowship located in Los Angeles, California.  She is Kriyaban-eligible.  She received her 200- and 500- hrs. yoga teacher certifications in 2005-10 respectively at Cityoga located in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She is registered through Yoga Alliance and Indiana Yoga Association.  She has been blessed to work with many seasoned and prominent teachers of yoga some of which include Todd Norian, Desiree Rambaugh, Ramaswami, David Swenson, Marsha Pappas, Sean Corn and many in Rishikesh, India.  The styles of yoga most studied thus far include Kriya, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Kundalini and Anusara yoga, which are all Hatha-based.Christine also leads the annual humanitarian trip to the holiest city of India, Rishikesh.  There the group assists children in need at a school/home called Ramana’s Garden.  This trip also includes access to The International Yoga Festival located on the grounds of the Ashram that provides the lodging for our travelers.  All are welcome to attend this once-in-a-lifetime trip!  Please visit this section of the website to learn more!  Recently released is the album, “Women Like Us Don’t Give Up”, recorded by Christine.  This album is available for purchase at our studios in Eagle Creek and Zionsville.  One hundred percent of the proceeds go toward the much needed effort to provide proper shelter, clothing, and clean water for the children at Ramana’s Garden.
